A LOVING START · PREGNANCY

You don't need a perfect partner. You need a prepared one.

Because the two of you are in this together.

Our health care visits turn your partner into the support you've always wanted, gives your body the preventative care it needs for a better birth experience and prepares you for life with your baby.

From the positive test to the moment you hold your baby, your family won't have to figure it out alone.

The thing every mom actually wants

During my decade as a doula, I had a joke I'd use on discovery calls:

"I'm who you wish your partner would be during labour."

It always got a laugh. But it connected with my families because it also revealed something deeper: What every mother truly wants during birth is simple. To feel fully supported, understood, and safe by the person right beside her.

Here's the part most people miss: your partner wants to be that person too. They just haven't been shown how.

I'll turn your partner into your greatest support

When couples worked with me, I watched partners transform. They went from unsure and standing on the sidelines to calm, and genuinely connected to the birth and the baby.

That's the heart of 'A Loving Start'. No more handing your partner a stack of birth books they'll never read. We prepare both of you together, so your partner becomes your doula, ready to support you whether you're birthing at home, in a hospital, with an epidural, or by C-section.

Why I created A Loving Start

After so many births, I kept hearing the same words:

"I couldn't have done this without you."

It meant everything to me. But deep down I knew those words belonged with their partner, not with me.

At the same time, I kept seeing couples miss key preventative support during pregnancy, and it led to outcomes they never wanted:

Missing the guidance they expected from their care team, leaving them feeling unheard, dismissed or panicked

Unplanned medical inductions

Severe perineal tearing

Switching from a midwife to an OB late in pregnancy due to complications like gestational diabetes

I built a team of like-minded doulas, but demand always outpaces the one-on-one support we could physically offer. I knew I needed to create something that could fill this gap, and reach couples earlier, when prevention still makes a difference.
